Can pokemon be traded to and from older versions of the game? Is inter platform Pokemon trading possible?
I recently bought a gameboy and pokemon blue and was wondering which pokemon were available on which games through trading.
If I bought leaf green, would i be able to transfer my old pokemon from the gameboy pocket to the advance?
What other pokemon can be traded to leaf green from other generations of the game?

pokemon can only be traded if they have the same software…in other words gba games can trade with gba games. nds games can trade with nds games. gb games can trade with gb games only.
with leaf green you cannot trade with the origional games (yellow red blue) but you can trade with other leaf green games and fire red. You can also trade with ruby and sapphire after you beat the elite four
