Sari Belly
HELP!! Planning a party?
My friends and I are planning a party, we are torn between two themes “Arabian Nights” or “India”. If we choose the Arabian theme what should we wear besides the harem pants because everyone can’t have their bellies out lol? I prefer the Indian theme but I don’t know what else to wear besides a sari and saris come from India and the shipping cost is expensive. Do anybody know where we can find saris or lehenga cholis in New Orleans or surrounding areas? Also, we need ideas on to what type of decorations. I have “goggled” and “binged” and I am still confused. We want to be beautiful but not spend so much money, this is our club’s 1 year anniversary and we wanted to do something different. Are do you know of any other theme that is unique?

if you go with Arabian nights, decorate with a ton of cheap (ebay maybe) carpets and large throw pillows on the ground. Then just have stars and a moon (those light up ceiling stars and strings of those small white Christmas lights and a big paper mache silver moon hanging in a corner). I would also look to Aladdin for decoration ideas. Maybe a sandbox if you feeling creative and funny.
